Quote: "This law creates a system of standards and technical regulations for digital technology industry activities in relation to products, services, and processes. The draft law will generally prohibit the (1) exploitation of digital technology to inflict harm upon state interests, infringe upon lawful rights, damage resources, the environment, or human health, or disrupt social order; and (2) the production, handling, or dissemination of data in an illicit manner, the infringement of intellectual property rights, the obstruction of national defence, and the mobilisation of emergency resources. In relation to AI specifically, the draft law will: (1) require the MIC to issue ethical guidelines for the development, deployment, and application of AI; (2) classify AI systems into risk levels, and impose risk mitigation measures and obligations based on these risk classifications; (3) prohibit AI systems that influence behaviour without awareness, exploit vulnerabilities, or classify individuals based on inferred characteristics, leading to substantial harm, and (4) introduce labelling requirements for digital technology products created by AI."
